Happenings this week!!

Okies.. pardon for my week of absence...

Things that i have done this week:~
1) Mon: Went for buffet lunch with XXX company at Grand Corpthrone Waterfront, followed by a case study for my supposedly job application (as none of us had applied for the job in fact) and Club Momo party!!
Lunch: The spread was good!!! And i am really amazed how much $$ corporations are willing to spend on lunches etc... Case Study: Mind boggling.... Club Momo: Guess who was the emcee?? ROBIN LEONG!!! *gosh* finally seeing his presence after his long disappearance from the tv scene....

2) Tues: Went for the interview... It went pretty well... =) I was amused by the interviewer as he kept re-emphasizing how the pay scales between the industries and how we shouldnt be fooled by the initial high pay... *yada yada*

3) Wed: Erm.. what did i do?? OH!!!! SAW 3!!!! haha!! okie... not as scary as i thought... Found it rather gory initially... but after that.. i got used to it and stared with a blank face throughout the film.. *surprisingly* i was so numbed that i dont even find the procedure of the brain surgery disgusting... rather... i found it interesting as i got to know how the our skull.. membrane etc looks like.. =P *i am not a freak k?? juz in case you are wondering*

4) Thurs: Hrm... Think i went down to office with my mum i guess... My memory is really failing me these days... cant remember... Oh!!! ya.. yes we did... we went to Taka to shop too! yup! correct! And i finally bought a pan!!! *excited* hee.. my parents are once going to be my guinea pig soon!!! *big wide grinz*

5) Fri: Outram Institution.. or rather... Milennia Institute... Went with TK to take photos of his old school before it gets demolished... here a some pictures for your viewing!! The only regret i had was not to take more pics in colour... my love for sepia and BW had gone overboard... now my pics look so monotone.. =(

this week has been kind of a crazy one for me...
one of my fren's grandma has been admitted to the hospital for stroke which caused hemorrhage.... =(
well.. sometimes i really hate doctors... their diagnosis can really cause a difference between life and death... oh well... *sigh*
and secondly.. i went to SGH to check up my spine and guess what happened? I was soooo amazed by how the doctor can predict the situation of my spine without first viewing the x-ray!! WOW!! am really impressed man... this is how it went..

doc: Your spine is okay. The pain might be a result of muscle ache from sitting too long.

me: So the protuding part of my spine is okay?

doc: Wait ar... let me check the x-ray.

I have to salute this doc for his ability to foresee... no wonder he is a doctor....

OMG... I cant believe that i actually stepped into Princess @ Bedok Interchange after soooooooo many uncountable freaking years to watch a movie!!! Amazingly... it turns out to be a rather enjoyable experience as there are hardly anyone in the movie theater!! YEAH!!! I spent my money worthwhile then!! haha...

Okies.. that's besides the point... JUZ A NOTE TO ALL GALS OUT THERE: WATCH THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mesmerized by it *awwwwww how i wish...* although the plot is quite fariytale...

1) COME ON!!! GET REAL!!! OF CUZ KEANU REEVES gets the number one ranking on the list of reasons as to why we should watch it!!

Boy... he's really one charming lao ta po.... aka handsome old man... (he's really getting old what!! like my george clooney... sama sama old but has nice butt uncle... =P)

Okie... You guys muz been wondering where the hell have i gone to....after my long disapperance from the e-world *which i think Chris wun find it surprising* =P

My sis/fren of 10-yrs, Aisyah, is back from Aussie wif a fren from the states.
For the past week, we have been showing her around SG... being "dao you" is really not easy at all... ha!! *tired*

Places of interest we brought her to:
1) Orchard = SHOPPING!!! It's GSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I shopped too!! hee....
2) BUGIS!!!! SHOPPING!!!!
3) Food trail.... yum... made her ate local desserts, durians (which they found to taste like onions!! ha!!), and our traditional ice cream with bread!!!!!
4) JB!!! City square+ holz plaza for more shopping!!!! well.. sel.. sorry to say this.. but i think there is a slight [or even more] difference in fashion sense acrosss the waters.....
5) Local Club Scene... Walked thru clarke quay.. boat quay.. and MS!!! haha!! But guess where we ended up to club?? erm.. cheeky monkeys??? haha!!!
6) Fullerton, Raffles place, Esplanade!!!

ohs! there's one thing that i wanna comment.. i felt really sorry for those guys who had gone for the drug trial test in UK that had gone wrong... it really really sux!!!

Sorry guys for my long disappearance... it's not that i dun wan to blog anymore.. but i am having a super stressed-out week!!

3 presentations in a span of 2 days! and somemore... the lessons are consecutive!!! which means.. i dun have a break at all... perfect! my brains will be super fried in those 2 days...

I am counting down... weeks til my final exams and months til my final term.. wahahah!! i cant wait any longer for that day!! it's simply attractive!! =P

Okie!! So far itinery for the week since last wed...

Wed nite: Went to stay over at Sheila's place in Pasir Ris with Aisyah. Nice cosy home which is already kind of "second" home to us. Even her parents treat us as though we are theirs! =) FYI... Sheila and Aisyah both have a long history with me... our friendship/sistership has lasted for 9 years and are still going strong!! =)

Well... we came a long long way... haha!! In between we kind of lost contact because of some "hamster"'s evil-doings... argh.. *disgusting* let's not mention abt her at all!
YUCKS! *pui pui kah pui* suay man!!

Ohs!! Anyway.. one funny thing is that we are the multi-racial clan.. haha!! So... i am SUPER used to strangers staring at us because of our combination. That night.. while we were walking around 1am to the 24 hrs kopitiam... a guy from the market saw us and commented this in Hokkien: " Ji bei, Ji or, Ji huan nah" Translating into eng, it meant: "one white, one ..... and one malay". Ha! But i just love us being like this! Who gives a damn abt them??

Sat: Went for Roystons' hall production.

Okie.. ONLY the set was nice. Both chris and I went for the sake of his set. The storyline was.... erm... ya... CMI!!! ha!! Oh! The music was not bad too!

Mon: Went for my fine dining test and traveled to Hougang and met up with TEAM B!! =)

They went for KTV beforehand and i joined in late for a game of pool.. Dan and Yx were totally disgusted with the pace the gals played.. haha!! For a game, we can spend one hrs on it and we could hardly aim well....I have to admit that i am NEVER gd at aiming no matter how much i enjoy playing pool!

Ha.. a real summary rite??? Sorry lah... Not now.. am having 3 freaking midterms in a row next week... *panic* I really miss vancouver man!!

Yaya.. think i should stop complaining and comparing... smile!! it's nice over here. ha!

Ohs!! Anyway... 2 of my frens joined Singapore Idol... cant wait to see them on TV!!!!

Surprise Surprise!!

Okies…*surprise entry*. I know. After I have disappeared from the bloggers’ world for soooooo long!!!

Last Tuesday the Team B met up again all the way at CAUSEWAY POINT!! Haha!! It’s so freaking far!!! But thankfully, Yx knows the shortcut method to woodlands. Should I mention how much I love bus 168? And also the efficient transportation system in Singapore saves me hell lots of time to travel from the East end to the North of Singapore. If I had been in Vancouver, I probably would have to travel for don’t know how many hours and transfer god knows how many buses. =P But all these are worthwhile!!! It definitely felt good to be able to see Team B again in person!!! But the location feels a bit funny though! Ha! Used to seeing them in thick jackets shivering in the cold. Now we are wearing the bare minimum. Ha!

Itinerary of that day at the MAGNIFICIENT Causeway Point:
1) Big GROUP *HUGZ* with the girls!!! Ck looked disgusted with us being over-affectionate. (I must tell you gals that I miss all of you!!!)
2) Lunch at food court after walking several rounds.
3) $1.20 Bubble Tea proudly recommended by Yx.
4) Standing in the middle of nowhere as road obstacles.
5) Yx house!! Ha… here we got to see REALLY Fugly photos of him when he were in his secondary/JC days… but I must mention that his baby photos are soooo cute (though some of his pics look like a little monkey..ha!)

Later in the evening, I went to the airport for dinner with Sheila! Boy! I do miss her lots too!! Cant give her enough hugs when I first saw her! Hee…Ohs! I must mention that I traveled in 858 from Woodlands to the Airport! It unimaginably fast for that distance!! I must really praise the transportation system that we have here!!

We has Sakae Sushi for dinner.. haha! Ya.. sushi again.. but I am not afraid of it yet.. it still taste good. =P But of course, I still think that sushi in Vancouver are fresher!! In the midst of our meal, Daniel and Wendy came to say “Hi”. It was a total coincidence that both Daniel and I planned to have our meal in the airport. I think it’s one of the nicest place to hang out in Singapore. I love the Changi Airport!! =)

Ohs!! One more thing…. I received a CNY greeting from Aisyah all the way from Shanghai!!! Miss you too gal!!! Come back soon kaes!! I cant wait to see ya already!!! Also.. I am really happy for you and Sign!!! Hope that Wedding Bells will ring soon!! My best wishes to the both of you!! =)

A farewell dinner... a masquerade. Everyone seems so happy...but the truth is I believe deep down we are not. We know what this dinner meant... but we just pretended that it's the same as any other casual dinner. The atmosphere was rather weird, or at least to me.

This farewell dinner does not mark the end...but rather, it is the beginning. The beginning of our new found friendship. We are going to stay strong... we will make things work. It will happen... And i believe we can do it... I really do.

Okies... first of all, 3 words: Farewell Is Sucks!!

This morning we went to send the guys off for their journey to Seattle. We stayed over at Selena's place the night before as we wanted to spend the "last night" in vancouver with the guys. We wouldn't be meeting each other anymore until next year... All of us tried the best to keep ourselves awake as we wanted to spend every possible last second together.

For the past weeks, i have been in self-denial mood. I have stopped counting down.. thinking that there is always tomorrow. But today still came and the feeling finally sinks in. Tonight seems sooooooo usually quiet. I am no longer used to being alone in my room. I used to be happy to have some personal time for myself as we have been going out too much. BUT now, i am suffering from MAJOR withdrawal symptoms of not being able to see the whole group. And the early sun set in vancouver does not help at all. All I see is darkness after sleeping my whole afternoon away... and the lonely feeling creeps in even more. I hate this feeling. I really miss the guys alot... ALOT!! & sooooo BADLY... Honestly, the feeling of leaving vancouver is a MILLION time WORSE and DREADFUL than when i first came here.

For the past few weeks, we have been spending TONS of time together.

We were so clique-ish that....

...we joined the Totem gang faithfully everyday for dinner at Vanier. We used to cook in Gage, but not anymore after Whistler.

...the FULL FORCE studied library together almost every single day.
(Even Yx who hates to study in the library came just for the COMPANY. The sweetest thing was that even those who had finished their exams came to join the rest just for the sake of COMPANY.)

...Chris and I took the shuttle for one big round just for the sake of COMPANY.

Whistler...A Turning Point of our Destiny

Okies.. I know.. it's time to update my blog!! hee.. Just semi-finished a shitty paper today which is worth 50%... but let's forget it. It was simply sucky. BUT who cares abt exams on exchange?!! =P (P.S: Thanks Chris for being by my side always!! *hugs*)

Now, let's talk abt the Whistler Trip!!!

First of all, I would say that Team B's spirit was brought out and witnessed in this trip!! Yeah!! =) Eveyone was so supportive of one another and all of us hanged on till the very last moment even though we felt so tired.... Most of us went back aching and suffered from excruciating pain. Ohs!! Be prepared if you want to learn snowboarding... you really need to have a bouncy arse... or it will hurts like mad! I am telling you based on my experience.. ha!!

Second, Yx can really do ANYTHING!! And he was really sweet... being the best snowboarder among us... he always looks out for the gals who are way behind.

Third, Chris is the worst bridge player i ever seen in my life. Ha!! She always mixed up who her partner is and "killed" her partner most of the time! And i am addicted to bridge.. ha! Thank you Mabz, Chris and Yx for giving me many "last round" of bridge!

Lastly, I would want to say.. the company is simply great!! Thank you all of you!! I am really happy to see how things have changed and how we have grown closer over the days. We used to be insignificant to someone... BUT NOW, "The priorities have changed". =) I was sooooo overjoyed when i heard that!! Things have really changed... I can see that we are getting closer. And i am tremendously happy about it... *grin* I have faith in us!! Dont fail me people...

Ohs!! And also... all the guys were so sweet!! They did the most unexpected stuff that you will think a guy never do!!! I was so touched when i received the cards... and even more moved when they WROTE the song lyrics for US!!! aww... just so sweet... the gals *melted* when they heard it. And even went through a few rounds of "dehydration". I foresee that more is coming... I seriously dont want to leave so soon... Can someone kidnap all of us pls??

Going Off To Whistler!!

Mmm... Whistler snowboarding trip is finally here!! But.. there is hardly any excitement for me even though i want to do snowboarding quite badly. Not because that it's just another trip, but rather this trip signifies our last trip. Sobs! But anyway, i m sure that we will enjoy it to our fullest!!! Today we went to do some grocery shopping for the trip. Wow!! I think we got tons of food!! And the UHT type of milk here is SOOOOOO EXPENSIVE!! MADNESS!!! ard CAD$2.60 per 1 litre pack. Ha.. but we bought 3 anyway since we need them to go with our cereal. Think this will the most expensive breakfast in this trip!! Okies! Will be back 3 days later! Take care everyone! =)

Wow!! Harry Potter 4 is a must watch!! So nice!!! So mesmerizing!!! Simply from watching the movies, i am so inspired to read the books now!! But sadly, i think i wouldn't have the time when i go back Singapore.. =( Actually i think as "Harry Potter" grows older, he is getting more and more charming!! And without the need to say... Hermione is super CHIO!!! Oh!!! One new character who unfortunately died in this episode too, Cedric, is so HANDSOME!!! Chris and I were drooling over him in the movie!! But when he died, my heart aches for him... sobs! Teared a little acutally.. ha! OH OH!!! One disgusting thing... the lovely dovely relationship between Hagrid and Madame Maxime actually send shivers down my spine!! Ha!! Cant imagine that in real life!! LoL!! Those mushy scenes sent me and Chris scrambling for one another and we even knocked our heads against each other once!! Ha!! Okies.. That's all for tonight.. Time to say GdNights!! =)

In fact, for the first time in my life... i am hoping that the exam period will not end so soon... ha! So we can more time together... =P Team B, I have already grown very attached to you guys! I feel so liberated & happy today!!! I went over to Sel's place to bake CHEESECAKE for natty's bdae!! I was supposed to stay in my gage apartment to mug for my French test. =( But I decided to heck it at the last moment. *oops* Ha!! This decision has proven itself to be a wise one as we had a supper feast over at Sel's.... hee... We had pizza, "guo ties" n Ben's & Jerry's New York Double Chunk for supper!!! It was so heavenly!!! I wouldnt mind having another serving of the ice cream!!! This is our 2nd supper in 2 days!!! How "potent" the lifestyle can be here in Vancouver!! =P Anyway... i will TRY to update soon again.... meanwhile.. have fun playing with my adopted pets name after my favourite "fugly" pair in Vancouver!! =)
