Surprise Surprise!!

Okies…*surprise entry*. I know. After I have disappeared from the bloggers’ world for soooooo long!!!

Last Tuesday the Team B met up again all the way at CAUSEWAY POINT!! Haha!! It’s so freaking far!!! But thankfully, Yx knows the shortcut method to woodlands. Should I mention how much I love bus 168? And also the efficient transportation system in Singapore saves me hell lots of time to travel from the East end to the North of Singapore. If I had been in Vancouver, I probably would have to travel for don’t know how many hours and transfer god knows how many buses. =P But all these are worthwhile!!! It definitely felt good to be able to see Team B again in person!!! But the location feels a bit funny though! Ha! Used to seeing them in thick jackets shivering in the cold. Now we are wearing the bare minimum. Ha!

Itinerary of that day at the MAGNIFICIENT Causeway Point:
1) Big GROUP *HUGZ* with the girls!!! Ck looked disgusted with us being over-affectionate. (I must tell you gals that I miss all of you!!!)
2) Lunch at food court after walking several rounds.
3) $1.20 Bubble Tea proudly recommended by Yx.
4) Standing in the middle of nowhere as road obstacles.
5) Yx house!! Ha… here we got to see REALLY Fugly photos of him when he were in his secondary/JC days… but I must mention that his baby photos are soooo cute (though some of his pics look like a little monkey..ha!)

Later in the evening, I went to the airport for dinner with Sheila! Boy! I do miss her lots too!! Cant give her enough hugs when I first saw her! Hee…Ohs! I must mention that I traveled in 858 from Woodlands to the Airport! It unimaginably fast for that distance!! I must really praise the transportation system that we have here!!

We has Sakae Sushi for dinner.. haha! Ya.. sushi again.. but I am not afraid of it yet.. it still taste good. =P But of course, I still think that sushi in Vancouver are fresher!! In the midst of our meal, Daniel and Wendy came to say “Hi”. It was a total coincidence that both Daniel and I planned to have our meal in the airport. I think it’s one of the nicest place to hang out in Singapore. I love the Changi Airport!! =)

Ohs!! One more thing…. I received a CNY greeting from Aisyah all the way from Shanghai!!! Miss you too gal!!! Come back soon kaes!! I cant wait to see ya already!!! Also.. I am really happy for you and Sign!!! Hope that Wedding Bells will ring soon!! My best wishes to the both of you!! =)

Now, Chris and I have only each other left...but thankfully we will get to meet Mabel, Joe and Marilyn soon in NY. Much as I am looking forward to the trip, somehow I dread the trip too... I know that will be our last few moments with Joe.... But that will not be the end. We will have a reunion in June... All of us. The Team B. =)

December 17th... our Farewell Dinner

A farewell dinner... a masquerade. Everyone seems so happy...but the truth is I believe deep down we are not. We know what this dinner meant... but we just pretended that it's the same as any other casual dinner. The atmosphere was rather weird, or at least to me.

This farewell dinner does not mark the end...but rather, it is the beginning. The beginning of our new found friendship. We are going to stay strong... we will make things work. It will happen... And i believe we can do it... I really do.

Okies... first of all, 3 words: Farewell Is Sucks!!

This morning we went to send the guys off for their journey to Seattle. We stayed over at Selena's place the night before as we wanted to spend the "last night" in vancouver with the guys. We wouldn't be meeting each other anymore until next year... All of us tried the best to keep ourselves awake as we wanted to spend every possible last second together.

For the past weeks, i have been in self-denial mood. I have stopped counting down.. thinking that there is always tomorrow. But today still came and the feeling finally sinks in. Tonight seems sooooooo usually quiet. I am no longer used to being alone in my room. I used to be happy to have some personal time for myself as we have been going out too much. BUT now, i am suffering from MAJOR withdrawal symptoms of not being able to see the whole group. And the early sun set in vancouver does not help at all. All I see is darkness after sleeping my whole afternoon away... and the lonely feeling creeps in even more. I hate this feeling. I really miss the guys alot... ALOT!! & sooooo BADLY... Honestly, the feeling of leaving vancouver is a MILLION time WORSE and DREADFUL than when i first came here.

For the past few weeks, we have been spending TONS of time together.

We were so clique-ish that....

...we joined the Totem gang faithfully everyday for dinner at Vanier. We used to cook in Gage, but not anymore after Whistler.

...the FULL FORCE studied library together almost every single day.
(Even Yx who hates to study in the library came just for the COMPANY. The sweetest thing was that even those who had finished their exams came to join the rest just for the sake of COMPANY.)

...Chris and I took the shuttle for one big round just for the sake of COMPANY.

I LOVE this group. I really really do.

Whistler...A Turning Point of our Destiny

Okies.. I know.. it's time to update my blog!! hee.. Just semi-finished a shitty paper today which is worth 50%... but let's forget it. It was simply sucky. BUT who cares abt exams on exchange?!! =P (P.S: Thanks Chris for being by my side always!! *hugs*)

Now, let's talk abt the Whistler Trip!!!

First of all, I would say that Team B's spirit was brought out and witnessed in this trip!! Yeah!! =) Eveyone was so supportive of one another and all of us hanged on till the very last moment even though we felt so tired.... Most of us went back aching and suffered from excruciating pain. Ohs!! Be prepared if you want to learn snowboarding... you really need to have a bouncy arse... or it will hurts like mad! I am telling you based on my experience.. ha!!

Second, Yx can really do ANYTHING!! And he was really sweet... being the best snowboarder among us... he always looks out for the gals who are way behind.

Third, Chris is the worst bridge player i ever seen in my life. Ha!! She always mixed up who her partner is and "killed" her partner most of the time! And i am addicted to bridge.. ha! Thank you Mabz, Chris and Yx for giving me many "last round" of bridge!

Lastly, I would want to say.. the company is simply great!! Thank you all of you!! I am really happy to see how things have changed and how we have grown closer over the days. We used to be insignificant to someone... BUT NOW, "The priorities have changed". =) I was sooooo overjoyed when i heard that!! Things have really changed... I can see that we are getting closer. And i am tremendously happy about it... *grin* I have faith in us!! Dont fail me people...

Ohs!! And also... all the guys were so sweet!! They did the most unexpected stuff that you will think a guy never do!!! I was so touched when i received the cards... and even more moved when they WROTE the song lyrics for US!!! aww... just so sweet... the gals *melted* when they heard it. And even went through a few rounds of "dehydration". I foresee that more is coming... I seriously dont want to leave so soon... Can someone kidnap all of us pls??

Going Off To Whistler!!

Mmm... Whistler snowboarding trip is finally here!! But.. there is hardly any excitement for me even though i want to do snowboarding quite badly. Not because that it's just another trip, but rather this trip signifies our last trip. Sobs! But anyway, i m sure that we will enjoy it to our fullest!!! Today we went to do some grocery shopping for the trip. Wow!! I think we got tons of food!! And the UHT type of milk here is SOOOOOO EXPENSIVE!! MADNESS!!! ard CAD$2.60 per 1 litre pack. Ha.. but we bought 3 anyway since we need them to go with our cereal. Think this will the most expensive breakfast in this trip!! Okies! Will be back 3 days later! Take care everyone! =)

HaRRy PoTTeR NiGHT!!

Wow!! Harry Potter 4 is a must watch!! So nice!!! So mesmerizing!!! Simply from watching the movies, i am so inspired to read the books now!! But sadly, i think i wouldn't have the time when i go back Singapore.. =( Actually i think as "Harry Potter" grows older, he is getting more and more charming!! And without the need to say... Hermione is super CHIO!!! Oh!!! One new character who unfortunately died in this episode too, Cedric, is so HANDSOME!!! Chris and I were drooling over him in the movie!! But when he died, my heart aches for him... sobs! Teared a little acutally.. ha! OH OH!!! One disgusting thing... the lovely dovely relationship between Hagrid and Madame Maxime actually send shivers down my spine!! Ha!! Cant imagine that in real life!! LoL!! Those mushy scenes sent me and Chris scrambling for one another and we even knocked our heads against each other once!! Ha!! Okies.. That's all for tonight.. Time to say GdNights!! =)

It's SNOWING!!! Yeah!!! So beautiful!!! This is the first time my morning was greeted by a patch of white snow when i peeked out of the window!! It's a nice rise and shine greeting!! The view from my room looks so picture perfect!! Got nice mountains behind the calm waters and with little houses beside. How i wish i can get to see such lovely sight back home in Singapore... but i know that's impossible... therefore i will treasure this beautiful moment as long as it last me. =) Happy viewing the photos i took ard UBC!

The days remaining in Vanc are getting shorter and shorter... and i am not the least bit excited abt that. In fact, for the first time in my life... i am hoping that the exam period will not end so soon... ha! So we can more time together... =P Team B, I have already grown very attached to you guys! We shared so many memories from our first trip to the Rockies... den Victoria.... den Playland & Halloween nite.... WhiteRock... Seattle... sharing of rooms together making stupid jokes... crazy nights of playing cranium and uno... Sushi buffet... dim sum.... chicken rice... Steamboat dinner at Nat's.... dinner at SEL's with Aunty Rosemary *eh* and uncountable number of KTV sessions... badminton and ice skating... wow!! we really have lots of wonderful memories together and we still have room for improvements to get to know each other "BET-TOR"... =) how i wish "D-day" will never come... i dun wanna leave vanc anymore... i really treasure all the times we have together and i hope that we will remain Team B always... *crossing my fingers*

On Fri, we celebrated Natty's bdae over at Sel's. Chris, Sel and I made a feast of PASTAS with the help of Aunty Rosemary *eh* and Mabel, Marilyn and Natty too!! The guys were so sweet!!! They helped with decorating the living room with the balloons and it was so pretty!!! Ohs.. and i have also discover a new secret... Our dear SEL has a fetish with balloons and she had even brought some over from Malaysia!!! OMG!! okies... i know that sounds LAME but WHO CARES?? it's my blog... it's my perogative to say what i want!! =P

I feel so liberated & happy today!!! I went over to Sel's place to bake CHEESECAKE for natty's bdae!! I was supposed to stay in my gage apartment to mug for my French test. =( But I decided to heck it at the last moment. *oops* Ha!! This decision has proven itself to be a wise one as we had a supper feast over at Sel's.... hee... We had pizza, "guo ties" n Ben's & Jerry's New York Double Chunk for supper!!! It was so heavenly!!! I wouldnt mind having another serving of the ice cream!!! This is our 2nd supper in 2 days!!! How "potent" the lifestyle can be here in Vancouver!! =P Anyway... i will TRY to update soon again.... meanwhile.. have fun playing with my adopted pets name after my favourite "fugly" pair in Vancouver!! =)
